Please pray...

HCJB Global employs hundreds of Ecuadorian staff who have worked alongside our missionary staff in the media and healthcare ministries throughout Ecuador for many years. In February 2007, leaders of the Employee Association of HCJB in Quito, Ecuador presented a demand for a collective labor contract.
The proposed contract places the future of the mission in Ecuador at significant risk. In recent days, a majority of Association members have taken a stand that could reverse this course of action. However, things continue to be tenuous.
HCJB Global requests the prayer of our partners and friends that wisdom and grace will prevail in this situation. We pray that this matter will be settled in a way that honors our Lord and protects the continuation of longstanding ministries in media, healthcare and leadership development.
