A Few Updates

Well, we want to thank you all for your prayers for the situation with the employees. Things seem to have calmed down and passed over. Please do pray for those employees who left HCJB and for their hearts--that they could seek God and his heart and not let bitterness take a foothold.

Pauli now has a lady that comes in to help around the house in the mornings here. Her name is Maira (Myra). As Pauli has had the Radio turned to HCJB in the house Maira mentioned that she enjoyed listening to the programs and wondered if we had something that would help guide her to read the Bible. Pauli gave her a booklet with a year's devotionals of Our Daily Bread in Spanish and a New Testament. Please pray for Maira as she reads these and for Pauli as she talks to Maira.

We are looking at getting a car, but have been held back by the cost of some of the cars here. (A twelve year old Chevrolet (Isuzu) Trooper here with 131,000 kilometers goes for about $12,000.) We've got a lead on a small SUV to facilitate travel here. It is a 2006 Chevrolet (Suzuki) Grand Vitara XL-7 with seven seats. We hope to get it for under $20,000 when it goes for $31,000 new. Please pray for our decision and the opportunity to get it, if God sees fit.
