The End of Summer

Well, as many of you can see I didn't get my September update done. I'll try to post a quick review of what would have been in the September update and in the next post get the October post up.
In August, soon after Steve's parents left, we took the car on a trip to the beach for a week with Magui's (one of Pauli's sisters) family. The car did pretty well, but the trip did show up a couple more things that had to be fixed at the mechanic's after we returned. It was a good week to get away and rest a little with some of the extended family (whose son, Cris, was in the States).
Upon returning we had to finish the registration for Keilah as she entered Kindergarten this year. She had kept saying that she didn't want to go to school, but found out that one of the Kindergarten teachers was her AWANA (a kid's Bible club) leader the prior year. She perked up at that and prayed that the school could switch her to that class. The next day, the school called and told us that she had been switched to that class. God is good in listening and caring for the prayers of even the little ones!
Keilah started Kindergarten on August 30th, and has adapted well to getting up and going in with Daddy in the mornings as he usually drops her off on the way to work and picks her up at noon to take her home during his lunch hour.
Steve had to get back to work as the Annual Members' Meeting for HCJB Global (the new name of the mission) was coming up in September and he would be on the technical team to help keep the four sites coordinated and connected.
August was also the month when the extended family started returning from their summers away. It was very interesting to hear the comments of these family members as they experienced the time away and being close to some of the undocumented community while in the States. Please pray that God can touch the hearts of the extended family and that there can be a realization that there are more important things than money.
