To Travel, or Not to Travel?

Well, I should have been on the road to El Paso today to check in with KVER but the trip got cancelled as travel budgets have been cut.  The chain of radio stations in on an austerity budget as donations have fallen and the stations aren't getting what they need.  KYRM has had to drop their live stream on the Internet even though they have listeners calling in to ask what happened to it all because they don't have the $250 monthly to broadcast the stream.

These are just some examples of what is happening right now.  People may say that there isn't the money for donations with the economy right now, but somehow many found ways to donate for Haiti.  I guess it all comes down to priorities. I don't want anyone to feel guilty or coerced (see: 2 Corinthians 9:7-9), but each one should decide where to invest their resources wisely.

Please pray for the ministry and wisdom for the leadership as they make decisions for the future of radio network.
